Stern action against VIPs violating code of conduct

Raipur: Taking a tough stance to implement the model electoral code of conduct, Raipur traffic police seized a large number of four-wheelers and registered cases under the Motor Vehicles Act. The action, however, evoked protests from the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) supporters, when traffic police intercepted a Scorpio Jeep carrying two senior party leaders and electoral materials at VIP Road turning.
