Finally, the process to complete 84.38 kilometer-long outer ring road work around Nagpur city has begun. National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has proposed to do 40.140 kilometers outer ring road starting from the city’s West side (Amravati road) to North side (Chhindwara Road) to East side (Bhandara Road).

They have to go to NMC offices and wander for few days to get permissions like no objection certificate for starting any hotel, business establishments etc. Besides, they have to go to NMC offices to obtain birth, death and marriage certificates. The work is never completed in one time, so they have to visit the offices for few days to get their work done.

The NHRC is of the view that the doctors having bogus degrees and registration certificates, providing healthcare are causing a serious threat to the health of the patients they treat. There is a need to shift to a system of periodical renewal of system of medical professionals to check quacks. The Commission feels that private sector in medical care has received relatively less attention from the policy makers as compared to the public sector.
